    Re: man vs wild

I've seen them all. There haven't been any new episodes since the first batch. They just play the same ones over and over. I like Survivorman better, it did the same thing though. Had a limited amount of episodes, 8-10, then no more. I guess it gets pretty taxing putting yourself through something like that to keep a show going.

I think Im a try it up on the Knob lol.
I hadnt seen any of them till last week or so. All I ever watch is CSI and Scrubs and The Crab Fishing Show, I have seen every episode of all of those shows, I own all of the Scrubs DVDS.

I just like watching people eat things Id never eat.

The Deadliest Catch is one of my favorite shows. I've seen every one since the first. It's really good. I love Scrubs too. I only have the first season on DVD. CSI is probably my favorite non comedy show. By CSI, I mean Las Vegas. That's the only CSI. The others are garbage. I loathe David Caruso.

All the same shows I try and catch on a refular basis, also add NCIS and The Unit.
I like Survivor Man better since he is alone and has no chance for any help at all and the Man v. Wild has a camera crew with him.

Yeah, I've watched Bear's show sveral times and they're OK. I actually like to watch the Canadian guy on 'Survivorman' better. At least he is quite funny at times.

    Re: man vs wild

I was watching the one were he had made a float from his jacket and was riding downstream in rapids etc.

My wife walks in, takes a glance a says "he's wearing a life-vest under his shirt" and leaves the room. I looked closely and sure enough, he is. Then when they show him getting out of the water he no longer has it on.

Kind of ruined it for me.......

Gotta go with your vthokie. Dirty Jobs and Deadliest catch are two of my favorite shows to watch. I wouldn't mind going to Alaska from some crabbing. Definitley risk/reward though.

    Re: man vs wild

The one that struck me funny was the one on the Big Island in Hawaii. He makes a big deal of the lava fields and then in order to survive he begins by going down into a dormant lava tube. When I was in the army we trained on the Big Island 2 out of every 3 months. Almost anywhere on the island you can see the ocean or at least find your way there. After all the place isn't huge...walk in one direction long enough and you run right into it. While watchin it I was thinkin...either this guy is a moron or he needs to get an episode for his show really bad...lol.
...And if you ain't down with that, I got 2 words for ya....
